It's possible he likes you but it's also possible he flirts with every other girl he talks to on yahoo messenger, I wouldn't do anything until I knew if he was into you, just to avoid being hurt.

It depends. He could either be just looking for a quick cyber thrill and nothing more or he could like you. On here you never no. This is why my gf wasn't sure about me when we first met online (yahoo personals) until we actually met in person.

Looks like he's already well on the way to wooing you --- let him make the further moves to persuade you to go out on a date --- likely he'll hurry up if he thinks that he's got competition or if you make yourself less available to him.
