The most common, and more than likely reason yiu have a violent intolerance towards the Christian faith is because you can't see it from their perspective, and how they view the theory of evolution and Human existance. You're so caught up in what you believe that you don't have the decency to respect anothers choice in religious faith. As insulting as it may sound, your aversion is a form of close-mindedness and prove nothing but a prejudice biased stance.
I'm not Christian, but I do have the decency to respect their decision.

You must have had such a traumatic experience with the "wrong" kind of Christians in the past...
That's just too bad since there are some okay and 'so-so' ones out there too, you know... with different temperaments, levels of intelligence, wit and friendly humor, I might add.
Of course, that is if you are an open-minded person as well...

Shame on you. You probably just can't tolerate hypocritical bigots who argue from utterly illogical and irrational positions, ignoring empirical data and clinging to the most arcane and obscure scriptures while ignoring the essential teachings of their religious leaders and then spend their lives trying to cram their idiocy down the throats of people who really are concerned about social justice, peace and the formation of "a more perfect union".
Oh yes, I bet you don't even want to spend eternity with them either. Does it make you wonder about the nature of heaven and hell.

BTW, how do you know that the people who you are around are actually Christians? Do they often preach to you? If so, you should know that it is done out of their love and concern for you.

Perhaps because a Christian's beliefs threaten what you perceive to be your right to do whatever you want. Christians are still sinners, but we are forgiven, and we want to be better, more Christ-like, and we are commanded to share our faith, to share the hope we have in Jesus. So we look at our lives differently than unbelievers. To be born again, you have to die to yourself, which means that you have to look at all the things about yourself that are unsavory and not pleasing to God. It makes people uncomfortable.

It's because you have issues with God and they tend to push that into your face.
Kinda like when your mom keeps asking you "are you sure nothing's wrong?!" over and over....something is wrong, but you just don't want to discuss it with HER.
Believe me, any real Christian knows they can't save anyone, only give you their testimony. It's actually against God to think that we are anything more than a bird dropping carrying a seed.

i no what you mean, i onces got saved an started getting my life together this church made me feel like family, then they judge me an that did it, they want you to join church save the sinners then they sinne by i think its a bunch of crap u can belive inthe lord not pay to here a man preach about him , church are all the same if there one god why not one belive?
