Keep them in the fridge in their original container. Don't let moisture get in (So don't wash the whole lot at once) and you can freeze them in a plastic bag if you want to keep them for a while.
Generally you want to use them within a few days for the best flavour and freshness..

I can't. my daughter eats them up before the days out! I found that if you put them in a tight fitting container (Tupperware) with no air getting to the berries, they will last at least 10 days. depending on how fresh they are.

Spray them with orange juice or pineapple juice; anything with a high acidity level but not too strong of a taste (like lemon juice; very bitter!) so you dont alter the taste of the strawberries.

If you will clean them really well and hull them they wl stay fresh longer. hulling is where you take a knife and cut away the stem using an up and down motion and lift it out kind of like coring an apple

Hull your strawberries. position them on a sheet pan in my opinion so that they don't look to be crowded. Freeze them for a number of hours or in one day. move them to a freezer field. (you need to split the 'stages' of fruit with rather waxed or parchment paper.) back, no crowding. you need to actual wash them once you make sure to apply them.

Try adding honey on them. This preserves apples so it should work for strawberries. I hope you like strawberries and honey.

I just clean them, let them dry, and put them in a plastic bag. Refridgerate in the fruit crisper. They seem to be gone faster that way. then everyone having to clean their own.

Keep them cool.
Do not hull them (take the tops/stems off) until ready to eat.
Definitely do NOT wash them until ready to eat or use.
