Quite honestly.. Who cares? We have a wonderful President who we know is committed (more committed than Bush or McCain ever proved to be) and who is confident (unlike Sarah Palin, scared poopless because of reporters) and who is undoubtedly willing to do whatever he can to save this United States from a downward spiral into becoming a 3rd world country. If fighting for millions of people isn't enough for him to be motivated, surely his desire for his daughters to be raised up in a world of unity and hope, and the OPPORTUNITY to make that world a reality is enough to get him going. It would get me going. It gets parents everywhere going. So, honestly, who cares if he is legal or not legal? We ignore the constitution other times - oh, gay marrige, equal rights for women, etc - but all of a sudden we have to go rushing around to prove an obviously great man to be unconstitutional? Lots of people didn't like Lincoln when he got elected either, but 100 years later, you can't find a cross word about the guy. All of your whining now will be packed away, as useful as a piece of toilet paper. Here's a suggestion: Go out and do something good today. Go feed a homeless man or save a child from neglect. Donate to a Rwandan fund, do a little genocide research. Borders and citizenships don't mean anything, shouldn't mean anything. Try crossing the lines, look at the world from someone else's standpoint. You might be surprised to find out that there are actual people living on the enemy's side.

Depending on the smartness of the child, you should check The Potter's School (www.pottersschool.org). It is a Chrisitian online Jr. High and High School. Warning: The classes are very rigorous and demanding. A student will be extremely challenged but learn loads. The teachers are kind, courteous, prompt in returning emails, and Christian. We pray before each class and close each class in prayer.

It depends on the child. Do they like to read books and sit still, or do they like to move around and do experiments. First figure out what your child's needs are. Ideally, an online program will connect you to people you normally wouldn't be able to meet. Otherwise, a correspondense course would do just as well.
