If god created us in his image, why are some people born gay so to speak?

Yes- studies have shown some people are in fact born gay. Hormone deficiencies are a main cause to this. I'm pro-gay, choice, whatever. I'm just curious as to why, if God loves us so much, would he condemn those that he has created...? When I used to go t ochurch, I was taught to love all and hate none. I was taught to forgive and love my neighbor as myself. I still hold true to these values, even if I do not agree with the church.

I'm not asking why God hates us, I believe in a loving, personal and yet impersonal supreme being. If we are created in this beings image, why would it condemn those that are not perfect?

How can yo uresist a horomone deficiency? If you ar eborn with little to no testosterone, what are you suppsed to do? I suppose it was stupid to ask this question.

Yes, actually, there are SCIENTIFIC studies that show horomones to EFFECT YOUR SEXUALITY. Horomones are important. Do some research before you come in these forums pretending to know things.

If you're going to go with the condemnation view - Why are some people born into bad neighborhoods, given only the option to stand up and risk death or follow the common path? No matter the circumstances it's up to the individual to make the choice to resist the tempatation to sin, including that of homosexual intercourse. It's not a sin to love the other person, only to lust after them and act on those feelings.

Sad thing about today is that many people will trust a news article or books that justify a sin that people don't want to overcome and totally cut off what the word of God says. Man is not born gay because that would put the word of God contridicting itself!

I don't think anyone is born gay . That is a sexual preference. Scientist are the one who generally come up with this stuff. I mean reallly how can you tell if a baby is gay or not? Noone knows they are gay until they themselves start to have an attraction to the same sex then it don't always mean they are gay . Some people experiment and realize they are not while others tend to be more attracted to the same sex and end up gay.

i do no longer think in God. i think of there are way too many faiths available and so its impossible for any of them to be "actual". As far as we know, God doesn't condemn gay people (if anyone has an ACTUAL recording of His/Her voice saying otherwise then I would really want to hear it). What I see is that MEN are flawed and are not yet ready to really accept everything and everyone God has created has He/She created it.

I think these people do not believe that gays are born that way. they believe that it is either a choice or a mental illness. Therefore, they don't believe that they were created by God in that manner. That's they're problem with it: That God did not create them gay and he does not approve.
