America and our western allies DO NOT HAVE the support or TRUST of the people of Iraq! Our soliders will continue to be killed because we cannot win the hearts, minds, and faith of the people of Iraq.
The people of Iraq continue to suffer due to our occupation there. Our soliders have killed ( a kill is in the line of duty) and murdered (an unjust taking of a life) hundreds of thier people. Terrorist have done the same. The people of Iraq DO NOT SEE a difference between the Insurgents and our soliders...our being there has caused the death and suffering of many innocent people over there. Without the TRUE support of the people of Iraq America will not win.
If we kill one "Big Daddy" another one will take his place...this is a fact...Bush and the idiots on "the Hill" don't know sh*#!

Because it was not just the "BIG DADDY" who was killing our troops. We are fighting religious finatices. We are fighting an idea in an area where ideas last for 100's of years. We can win. It will be hard and it will be a battle of attrition, but with fortitude we can win. WWII did not ceace with the signing of a piece of paper. It stopped after every small band of rebels was wipped out. We were not under the same constraints as we are today either. When we had a problem with a city , we fire bombed the city and came in to pick out the pieces. This is a war which must be won. The alternative is more Zarkowies, more beheadings, more grief. We can win, but we must have the fortitude to stick it out for the long haul.

When you cut off the head of the snake it still withers around some before it dies. As a result of nailing Zarkawi they managed to complete over 400 raids on locations given to them by documents at Zarkawis' safe house. In those raids they arrested more then 750 and killed over 110 insurgents. NO one said that was all of them. They have been hurt but they will be waging war against the Iraqi security forces long after we are gone. Our mission is to get those forces trained and equipped...then let them handle it.

Hey Einstein, they're in combat launching a major 10,000 man operation against a city 60% controlled by guerrillas. I expect a few casualties. I notice you aren't pointing out the multiple hundred insurgents killed and arrested recently. Of course not, one cannot be bothered actually reading these stories.

lots of hate
there have been many murderers tried and executed and yet murders are still committed everyday
and yet, we can be proud of our law enforcement and justice departements when a murderer is brought to justice
it won't get easier
the question is not is it hard, the question is, is it right

He wasn't that big, and he had a lot of followers. Terrorist are not like snakes, you can't cut off the head and it dies. You have to kill every one of them.
