Just read an article in McCalls magazine that many women are using "high-tech" adult diapers that feel dry and don't leak or have odor under their clothes for convenience purposes. These are younger women and are not incontinent - just find them convenient vs. standing in long bathroom lines, etc. Any ladies heard of this or partaken?

I have not heard of this. However, I did work for a urologist, and there are tons of women out there with incontinence problems. It's much more common than you might think, and not only in the elderly. My sympathy is with anyone who suffers from this. There are also a wide variety of medications that can help with incontinence, so if you have this problem you should see a urologist.

As for the implication that women would wear adult diapers so that they can purposefully wet themselves instead of standing in line to use the bathroom, I find that highly unlikely. I myself have never had to stand in line for so long that I couldn't hold it any longer....I just don't regularly encounter lines that are so bad. In my day to day life I generally encounter no lines in public restrooms.

Wearing Diapers For Convenience

Okay, I'm going to bed, now...I've heard it all!!

I would hope that I am never too busy to go into the bathroom. How "convenient" would it be to walk around wearing a diaper full of urine?

Yuck!!!

Nope, that just sounds like an excuse for women who still wet the bed to have a diaper. Sorry.

I have read that they use these in China, as some of their bus trips are 12 hours long to go back and forth to work. Too funny! I sure hope they don't try that crap over here with our work days!

no, i hadn't heard that until now. that's very odd. i don't think i would ever do that...it just seems so unnatural! lol. i don't really see the need for it either, when i'm out and about i really don't encounter THAT many long, slow-moving lines. not enough that i'd want to wear a diaper at least!

ok first off i never heard of anyone doing that . Second, for all the women that are doing that you are gross and i think that it would be hard to handle a wet diaper ( thats why we change children so much) . If you are doing that who changes your diaper and do you need day care?????????????

i wouldn't recommend this one. you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the adult diapers after your childbearing years are over and you lose your ability to keep your undies dry.
PS diapers are NOT ODOR FREE
