I don't believe that this is the way to go:

To me, it sounds more like the Angel of Light's way to get to his "heaven" I can understand that you have to "go to hell before you get to heaven" to quote a song from the 70's. We sometimes have to suffer greatly before we can be "resurrected" I know that from my own experience, but it is not necessary to go there.
