Athlete's feet is a fungus of the Candida variety. Candida hates acidophilous (the bacteria in yogurt). Use the creams on your feet - make sure they are antifungal creams like clotrizamole (generic) or Lotrimin AF.
If you take antibiotics, it will help, but antibiotics kill the good bacteria too, and the athlete's feet will come back faster than the good bacteria. Prevention is use of anti-fungal foot powder.
So start eating non-fat plain yogurt, as well as using the antifungal creams. If you don't like the taste, put real fruit in it (apple is my favorite).

Try something over the counter like a lotrimin or Lamisil. These are antifungals that kill the fungus on your feet. You need to be diligent and follow the directions on the package well, so you feet can heal and so that the funguis does not return. Also a more concentrated anti-fungal is available with a prescription

Have you sterilized your floors and shower? They are usually made from porous materials that the fungus can continue to grow. Also throw out all of you shoes they will harbor bacteria. Also wear only white socks that can be sterilized in hot water and bleach. If you use pumice stones throw them out sterilize all you foot care equipment after every use. Also ask you Dr. about the anti fungal pills you take them longer than you use the cream but they are more effective than the cream.

moisterize daily!! And wear socks afterwards. Try udder ointment. (i know it sounds rediculous) Farmers use it on cow's teats to heal cafted skin that cracked and dry. Its great for feet. Just don't put it between your toes. It really works! I use it because I get dry feet all the time due to my diabetes. Or if you can't find the udder ointment try Burts Bees.

this is gonna sound crazy but it's the same fungus as jock itch and dandruff. You should soak your feet in bleach. Then rinse them off real good then rub Head and Shoulders on them.you could use the no name brand cause it's cheaper. The better and stronger the Dandruff shampoo is gonna be better.Even prescription stuff couldn't hurt.

You need medicine. It is a fungus.
If one does not work, seek a second opinion.
