The obvious answer would be a man whose physical features are typically not deformed or abnormal. A good looking man's smile would cause women to do a double-take. All of your face doesn't have to be model-perfect but one aspect of your facial features should stand out in an appealing way.

Then the category would divide into two: dark good looks and sunny good looks. Both would have some attributes that are appealing to the onlooker. For example, an unusually long eyelashes, or a set of clear eyes, or a graceful posture or full lips or nice nasal ridge on the nose, high cheekbones.

Dark good looks belong to people like Joaquin Phoenix (cleft lip overwhelmed by intense eyes), Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt...I think these guys have this intensity around their eyes, plus other normal facial features.

Sunny good looks belong to Orlando Bloom, Owen Wilson (crooked broken nose dwarfed by set of pink full lips), Mathhew McConaughey...these guys make you feel like they would never do anything to hurt you because they've got that relaxed-looking eyebrows and gentle manners.

I guess the facial features that determines the scale of handsomeness in the order of dominance would be:
eyes, eyebrows, lips, nose, forehead.

All this in addition to a great personality would make any guy a double-taker. Hehe!

A genuine smile surrounded by a gotee, passionate blue eyes that are confident, a muscular body but okay if there's some managable cush, a head of hair that is not too modified or trying to cover too much area with too little hair....
but when it comes down to it...
a good-looking man is a guy who can look at himself in the mirror and/or at the end of the day and say.."I did good today, life is good and I'm loved by good family and friends."

Me..he's a ringer for Santa Claus but because of severe cystic acne as a teenager and occasional bouts of adult acne (he's 58 now), he is scarred over his face, neck, back, chest, arms , stomach and even his legs. I don't care. Some people are just so special that it shines from the inside out and you are so taken with this person, how 'golden' he is, that the outside just fades and you only see the goodness. That is, if you aren't a shallow person who can only see what's outside. G ranted he aint perfect..he tends to procrastinate, hates to get up in the mornings, and tends to turn the area he's in into a land fill...altho he's narrowed that down to the top of his chest of drawers-and I've learned to ignore it and let him have his 'land fill' lol.... But he's considerate, affectionate, loyal, witty, smart, has a wonderful, jolly sense of humor. he laughs at himself but laughs WITH, not at others...he always gives the benefit of the doubt and he shows me every day how much he appreciates me. I am one lucky lady.

I don't know why people always say looks don't matter i'm sure that in your life some unfortinate looking guy tried to holla and you shot him down.So my honest opinion looks do matter to a certain degree but its hard to say.A guy could be average and have a great smile or a fabulous sense of humor or fine with a hella body but dumb as a rock.Or not so good looking but sweet as pie prince charming type of guy most not all woman would go for that average or fine hella body guy.

Its different for everybody. Tall, light, and braided up. On the thick side. I like to cuddle. Thuggish, but not sloppy ( pants around ankles, ewww) This is just appearance right. Cause when he actually talks to me he'd better have some damned sense. I don't do slang.

And No more than 1 gold tooth.

My good lookin guy would not wear saggy pants and oversized t-shirts. He would have long hair but not past the shoulders, a nice smile no crooked teeth, nice eyes, brwn is ok. Taller than me, 5'4'' is tall enough :) Don't care if he's chubby, but I don't want him to be morbedly obese. He's confident, funny, smart, sensitive, and a great friend. Sounds like the perfect guy doesn't it :)

A personality. Someone who isn't shallow and actually pays attention and thinks about things before passing judgement. But it varys depending on the girl. He has to make me augh and have an IQ in the triple digits.

Outside appearance means little to me. I don't even find Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt attractive. I go for a nice guy who treats me right and takes care of me. Luckily, he's not too bad looking either.

Ladies, we always overlook the nice guys! We need to stop that!
