It's okay to be romantic...it's good to be romantic.
Just know that guys don't often "get it". Your best bet is Romantic films, books, & music when you're in a romantic mood.
You are not the first, nor will you be the last, woman to shed tears for romance. (I've even seen a guy shed a few at times!)
Watch out. Some guys don't "get it" and they will equate sex with romance. While sex can be romantic, we girls know that it's just a tiny corner of the Romance picture.
The world needs romance. It's what makes our time in this world so beautiful!

Good advice by previous poster: "avoid situations that make you cry."
I don't go to dog shelters because of that; it is too heart wrenching for me.
I, too, am very tender-hearted. I don't think I want to lose that quality but I have learned to temper it. I still cry; in fact, I cried today when a friend told me that she was engaged. I was so happy for her because I know how scared she was at the beginning.
But back to you; don't be ashamed of your tears. That is just how you cope with strong emotions. If someone is teasing you, just tell them that you are so overwhelmed with love that it just overflows in you.
But also learn to guard your heart as some people may try to hurt you. Pray for protection when it begins and you will grow stronger.

I was that way sorta, when I was 14. Wait until you are older to worry about romance. It is fun and all, but it is not long lasting. But friendships can be. So go for that. You may need to talk to someone if you cry a lot. You may have depression. I did. So please get help if that is the case--or you will not have healthy feelings or relationships. I hope this helps.

Romantic or emotional? Since you are 14, you are most likely in a very emotionally vulnerable stage- its OKAY to have feelings!!!! as for the crying- either learn to control it or embrace it!

It's perfectly okay to be romantic when you're that young. Everyone has dreams.
However, your persistent crying could be a sign of depression or another illness. You might want to talk to your doctor about that.

I am a tender-heart, too. Don't worry about it. It is just proof that you are very capable of showing love. Enjoy! Go rent Titanic or The Color Purple and have a good cry! :)

Oh, honey, those hormones.. it WILL get better, I promise!
And, then, it'll get worse.. far worse, when menopause comes around.. I know I just cried during the news!
And, there's nothing wrong with being romantic.. but I think you mean sentimental// there's nothing wrong with that, either...
it's natural!
