Reincarnation is true and you can remember your last life if you want to - but very few people really want to, at the subconscious level. Memories of who you were could complicate your present life and cause feelings of displacement and confusion.

If you want to try remembering your life, read a book on the subject, such as "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Past-Life Regression" by Michael Hathaway. Silly title, but sage advice inside.

Whoever thinks the inability to remember a past life is evidence that reincarnation is untrue should consider the fact that, since none of us can remember being born, or being an infant - or the vast majority of days between birth and now - it follows that everything we've forgotten (which is 99.999% of our lives) never happened either.

Life after death we will be born again, maybe we will spend some time as beings of light ( energy ) but eventualy we will retirn to a physical form
It make sense becuse it seems rather "odd" to me that we are the reason that the whole universe was made for, it is odd to believe that we came suddenly to this world and that we will go suddenly and then will go to heaven and stay there indefinitly. It just sounds foolish and beyond the power of resaon tht we have to believe such lame stories.
I see as reincarnation as one candle passing out its flame to another new candle, the new flame is NOT the old flame but the new flame WILL NOT HAVE HAPPENED if not for the old candle. Both are interconnected.

Hindu scriptures say that the vaishnava shakti is the force that stuns the soul at the time of rebirth which causes it to lose conscious memory of its past lives. They are still stored in your memory, but you are not consciously aware of them. One Hindu teacher described it like when you turn on a machine that you've just gotten all connected up and it takes some time to warm up. They say that for the early part of our lives most of us don't remember until we reach a certain age, this is because everything is still coming online. At the same time, to make room for all the new information that the soul has to receive from the new body, it stores the old memories of past lives away. Ever have a feeling of deja-vu? Hindus would say that if it is because of a place, then in a past life you probably visited there and some of those memories are slipping forward. If it is because of a person, chances are that you've met this soul in a previous life and again some of those old memories are slipping forward into your conscious memory.

That's how Hindus explain it atleast.

Although we are reincarnated what would be the point to remember our last life? Our soul was sent back to get it right this time around without any help what so ever.

Quote from Wikipedia:

Whilst science is perhaps not as scathing of reincarnatory belief as it is of many other metaphysical concepts, and many claims have been documented in a scientific manner, it is important to be aware that formally, mainstream science does not accept yet that reincarnation is a proven phenomenon, or that it happens. Many apparently proven phenomena turn out to be illusional over time, and others are often deemed by many to simply be unknowable, and hence by definition outside its province.

xD No, no.

What happens is that while you're passing onto the next life, you keep the lessons you learned in your last one with you. Hence why you may have fears of, say, heights, or may be really smart with love or a weapon or something.
