If people don't want anything to do with God, why are they spending their time in this specific section of Yahoo Answers that deals with religion? shouldn't they be playing around in another section instead of this one? By the way, serious answers only please, if you are going to be brutal, rude, funny or inmature save you typing, GOD BLESS!

i was saying this because if did not believe in God at least I would not say nasty things to those that actually believe in him, and I also now that this is open for any religion not just cristianity.

Again, I am not saying that they shouldn't be allowed to answer or ask questions, what it bothers me is the way some people come about God, without any respect for those who believe in him.

The Bible states that unbelievers view the Word and the Way as foolishness. This is a forum for many different beliefs and cultures, some genuinely wish only to learn, others simply enjoy attempting to stir things up so that they may show all how"human" the "religious" people are.It is a feeble and childish show of disrespect to all involved, regardless of personal views on Holy matters. But remember,Love covers a multitude of sins!

I will be perfectly honest with you: I posted a semi-god hating answer on a question about a favorite pope. I said the one who started the Spanish Inquisition.

Im not sure why exactly I did this. I guess I was trying to be funny. I either didnt know I would hurt someone's feelings or I didnt care; Im not sure which one.

I dont hang out in that section though. Perhaps those people resent having God forced on them and feel the need to lash out. Some are probably *** holes. Some might be drunk or high.

I apologise if I offended anyone with my answer to the other question, I was just trying to have fun.

This specific form has nothing to do with loving.. OR hating God. this section of Yahoo Answers deals with (like you said) religion and spirituality. There could be some religious groug that worships hairbrushes and hates God and everything having to do with him. But who is to say that just because they don't worship and/or have the same beliefs as you do doesnt in any way make them any less spiritual as you. They just look at things a little diffrently.

Personally, i havent seen any 'I hate God' posts.. but i HAVE seen many questions dealing with the thoughts of diffrent religions and the diffrent variations of everyones beliefs'.

Hope this clears things up for you.

- Just because someone doesn't believe in god or gods doesn't mean they aren't religious.

- This is both the religion AND spirituality category. Some people come here to learn about spirituality and they end up asking and answering and asking questions about religion as well.

- Everyone, no matter what their beliefs (or lack of beliefs) are, wants their view to be heard.

- Many atheists think religion is dangerous and wrong.

- Many atheists want to learn about different religions.

- There are questions directed towards atheists in this section.

There are many reasons why atheists, agnostics, and other non-believers ask and answer questions in this category. What about believers in god though, why are you here? If you really believed in god, then why wouldn't you ask it directly? It seems to me that you either don't actually believe in god, or, you're severely disrespecting it.

I feel the same way. How can a person who doesn't believe in God be obsessed with questions about God. Maybe its because its hard to mock people in the sports section. What other section can you discriminate and get away with it?

The question is? Whose to blame for the existence of such thoughts? I believe it is just as much you and me as it is the person who typed the statements themselves. And neither you nor me is any better of a person that those anti-Christians in the eyes of God. So don't get all high, mighty, and arrogant about your faith.

God Bless.

Let me be serious with you:

THIS SECTION ISN'T ONLY FOR CHRISTIANS!!!

Also, people are free to do as they wish. There is nothing that says that you can't go to a section on Yahoo! Answers if you have nothing to do with it.

What if you're a religious-wise Atheist?
A woman's health-wise Man?
A marriage-wise Single?
A work-wise Child?

All are free to go where they wish and do as they please.

As a Christian, you believe in free will. They all have the free will to go where they wish. Don't try to alter it.

You have been misled. This is NOT a christian forum. This is a religion & Spirituality forum, neither of which are exclusive to christianity. If this was a christianity forum it would be under the christianity heading, not religion & spirituality.
There are other religions & ways of spirituality aside from christianity.

This is not a prayer forum, it's a debate forum. Debate = pro/con
If you want to commune with God, go to church or pray in private.
Was I brutal? Are you bleeding?

...and Allah bless you too.

The devil uses any tool he can to get believers to put up strongholds. In my bible study group we are going though a book by John Bevere, "The Bait of Satan" You should check it out. Maybe it will help.
