Hello fl0wergir1_usa.. :)
Yes, a Christian can marry anyone one that they want to..
But a believer in Christ wants to marry only a Christian, because a woman needs her husband to be the spiritual leader, the head of the home..also it is very difficult for the two to spend the needed quality time together to keep their Love alive..for the unbelieving spouse would not want to attend church and have Bible studies..etc..
What would their children grow up to believe..this may cause problems..
That is why, when one marries someone that believes (not just Christians) and has many similar interests as the other person, they would be able to understand each other and spend their lives working together building a marriage for they would have the same things in common.. :)
In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ..

There is nothing to prevent Christians from marrying Non Christians - however - there will be less chance of conflict of interests if Christians marry Christians of the same Denomination.
It's common sense. Think of an atheist married to a Christian. Its not a compatible relationship and if you are a Christian the non Christian mate could suck you into his vacuum of ungodliness.
Same with other religions or a different denomination. King Solomon's weakness for other women outside his beliefs caused him to do some ungodly things - same with King David who was punished for his sins.

You are "allowed" to do any thing you wish. The fact is, it is important to marry someone who has the same ideals regarding religion (among other things) because as time goes on, it will cause a great deal of tension between you if you don't believe the same things. This is true for religion, politics, child rearing, money management, you name it. You have to be 'on the same page' as your spouse on many levels. Christians tend to consider having the same religious beliefs a big deal in a marriage.

It all depeneds on whether or not you follow the Bible. If you follow the Bible the rule is that Christians only marry Christians. Many Christians do marry non Christians against the teaching of scripture but it think most of them really regret it years down the road.

I am a Cristian and i am looking for a Christian woman,i read somewhere in the Bible that we should not be "unequaly yoked",which some say means not to marry a non beleiver.
But i just want a Christian wife so we can read the Bible and both worship together.

It says in the Bible that we're only supposed to marry other Christians. I don't suppose anything happens to them if they disobey that rule. . . but I think it's very foolish to disobey it. A Christian's beliefs are a huge part of who he/she is, and getting married to somebody who doesn't share those same beliefs means that the biggest chunk of your heart can't even be shared with them. That makes for loneliness, if nothing else. It also makes for serious disagreements more often than not.

It is generally unwise for a believer to marry a non-believer because those marriages tend to have a high rate of failure, and the kids become confused and used as pawns in a struggle of ideologies. King Solomon made this mistake which led him to the worship of foreign gods and was, as a consequence, punished by the only true God for his disobedience. But, he repented and was forgiven.

Well I think that Christians should only marry Christians. There's plenty to choose from.
