trouble w/ my cd rom?

When I go to play cd's on my computer, they sound as if there're skipping.
It does it with all cd's. What is be the problem and can I fix it?

Dirty CD. Dirty laser lens. If you can't clean it, the CHUCK IT and buy a new one.
