No, it is not a good idea to re-dye your hair the same day. If you really hate the color you'll have to wait at least three weeks before you dye it all over again. In the meantime, condition like crazy!

It can be dyed again the same day... however, if you're worried about the over-all condition of your hair as a result from the chemicals "over-processing" your hair then it wouldn't be such a good idea. Instead, you should first try to shampoo the dye out!! Even if the hair color is permanent hair dye it will still wash-out of your hair. This is even more so true if you've never dyed it before or when it is applied that same day. You are able to safely repeat shampoo-ing as many washes as you wish & most of the color will be out & over time (refer to the directions inside the box or on the bottle of dye you used) for when it is o.k. to dye it again. If you used semi-permanent or temporary hair color... then all you've gotta do is use the whole bottle of shampoo, ha ha. Good-Luck! p.s. next time test out the color first, try dyeing just a small-chunk or "strand" piece of hair from the back of your head.

I definitely would not! I am going through this right now. My hair was dyed by a hairdresser, but it wasn't what I wanted. He was going to re-do it right away. But then told me it would be better to wait at least 24hrs, even longer would be safer. So, I am waiting at least a week, and conditioning it in the meantime. Glad I decided not to do it again in the same day, because that night my scalp felt irritated from the one session...I can only imagine how it would have felt, or what I might have lost (!), if I had done a double treatment!!!
Just try to enjoy this temporary new color, knowing that you will have what you really wanted soon enough! Best of luck to you!

No way! If your hair is naturally blonde it could turn green! It is too much stress for your hair to do it the same day. Also when it hits sunlight the color can change a little. Give it sometime. Maybe it does look good, you just have to get used to it-ask a friend!! If not just use a temp color!

i have and my hair didn't fall out- so i say its okay- but if you do and still don't like the color i would atleast wait another week or two to dye it a 3rd time

NOOOOOO! you could seriously damage your hair ..... it could even possibly fall out. wait 2-3 weeks before you color it again

yea my older sister did and it didnt go back the same color but it came out similar.

I wouldn't. They dye can sometimes burn your hair. If you try to redye it then you could end up losing it all.
