The Bible teaches that there will be ONLY a second coming of Christ! In the first coming, Jesus was incarnated and crucified. He will come a second time at the end of the world. He only comes Twice! There is no Rapture for "true Believers" or "elect" and leaving everyone "left behind".
The Bible only teaches the second coming:

There is a rapture. There will actually be two of them. It is in Sripture. It is even patterned in the TaNaKh with the Feasts, the 3 main Harvests, the 3 levels of Noah's Ark, the 3 trumpets the First and Last Shofar and the Great Trump. Three in each of these representing: firstfruits of the barley harvest (Rev 14) the firstfruits of the Wheat (Rev 7) and the gleanings (also in Rev 14). However, there will also be two satanic counterfeits.

And of course. Not the entire Church (even of truly born again Christians) will be going in the rapture. ONLY those who are NOT only waiting, BUT also ready. That is scriptural. Only the Bride of YAHSHUA will be raptured. (Thats two groups of 144, 000 in Revelation 7 and 14).

The whole point of the Day of the LORD, the Great Tribulation is to clean up the Church.

The rapture is accualy the time of the second coming. Christians(like me) believe that Jesus will desend from Heaven just like He assended into heaven.(Acts 1:9-11)(Mark 16:19)(Luke 24:50,51). The word rapture means:
(The state of being transported by a lofty emotion; ecstasy.)
(An expression of ecstatic feeling. Often used in the plural.)
(The transporting of a person from one place to another, especially to heaven.)
The second coming is the rapture when the dead in Christ shall rise and all his people be taking to Heaven.
Hope I could help just a little

The word rapture is not mentioned. However 1 Thessalonians 4 verses 15 - 18 describes what people have come to call the rapture of the saints. The word rapture means to "be caught up" or "to be seized."
The Living Bible says it like this:
"I can tell you this directly from the Lord: that we who are still living when the Lord returns will not rise to meet Him ahead of those who are in their graves. For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven with a mighty shout and with the soul-stirring cry of the archangel and the great trumpet-call of God. And the believers who are dead will be the first to rise to meet the Lord. Then we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the lord in the air and remain with Him forever. So comfort and encourage each other with this news.

Not all Christians believe in a rapture. In fact, several christian denominations disagree on many points of doctrine. This is just more evidence that there was a Great Apostasy following the death of Jesus and His Apostles, as was prophesied. Many of the plain and precious truths have been lost or distorted over time, and that's why there are so many different churches today. It was also prophesied, however, that there would be a restitution, or restoration, of all things that were lost, and that once restored, the Kingdom of God would stand forever.

I believe God would not punish the true believers that have always waited for him.The Bible does mention that the second coming will happen like a thief in the night,( thieves steal or take thing, this could mean, Jesus takes(raptures) Christians)
However I dont argue for or against Rapture. All I need to know is that Jesus will guide me when the time comes for his second coming, be it I am raptured, or stuck here till death or his return.

You really need to read your Bible more accurately. 1 Thess 4:15-17 which you listed clearly speaks of a rapture (That is the
Greek word that is used) also 1 Cor 15 is clearly different from His second coming.

Thessalonians 4:17, Paul wrote of a time when living believers would be caught
up” to meet Jesus in the air.
1. The word Paul used means to seize by force, to snatch up, and to carry away. That is what the word rapture means.
2. It is used to refer to the event when Jesus comes back in the air and all those in Christ, both living and dead, will be suddenly, immediately, caught up from the earth to meet Jesus in the air.
3. At that time, all those who are taken in the rapture will receive their glorified body.
4. And from that time onward the church as we know it to-day individual, independent, local, earthly congrega-tions will cease to exist, and she shall become the eternal Bride of Christ.
I've titled this message tonight, The Rapture Question. We need to see WHEN it will occur, WHAT will happen, and WHAT that means to

I can tell you have really done your homework. I have studied extensively and there is only one ressurection, but a second death. There is also no pre-tribulation rapture. Jesus also only comes back one more time and scripture reveals he destroys the wicked at the brightness of his coming, NOT BEFORE. There is a time of the coming and gathering which is after Satan the man of sin is revealed 2thess2:6. The argument is when and where " not if", We shall be caught up means to be violently snatched and changed in a moment at the last trump. 1 Corinthians 15:52. The times to me are more of revelation when the heavens are opened and the Kingdom is revealed, which will include those that rule as Kings and Priests. These that rule and reign would be on earth not in Heaven. It will no longer be by faith because faith is the substance of things hoped for, if it is seen then it is not by faith. The world will go back under the law and when Satan is raised up at end of millennium most of the world will rebel with Satan and will perish for the second time outside Jerusalem. Here is scripture.

Rev 20:7And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
God Bless becareful not to root up tares you may root up children of God. Be patient until the end and God will repay, vengence is the Lords. He will not lose any. The last enemy will be death and then no more tears. Also the dead in christ are not those sleeping. Your loved ones sleep in Jesus as HE revelealed with Lazarus after three days and nights they will be dead thats why the DEAD are not brought until after millinneum. The Dead in Christ is the unblinding of Israel when the scales are removed. Remember those that sleep in Jesus he will bring with him from paradise. Love all

You are correct but for one thing; all Christians do not believe in a secret rapture. My denomination believes what is written in 1 Thessalonians 4, and it does not sound like a secret to me. Most Christians believe in a secret rapture because they are ignorant of what the Bible says and listen to Hal Lindsey and Tim LaHeay instead.
