I'm thinking...NO... because when you move to another state and go to the DMV, they actually call the former state (at least when I was in Arizona) or run it through the computer, plugging in the information where you resided and check if the license is clear. The best you can do for now is an I.D. and a 12-speed mountain bike.
Thanks for the chuckles br549 and jareihart.

No you won't. You are in the DMV system and it will show up for CO that the license is suspended. You have to pay all charges in CA to be able to get another license in another state. It is illegal to have to different licenses/ID's in two different states. (Although some have managed to get around the system).

Why would you want a suspende Colorado license? it wouldn't be any better than the one from California.
Colorada probably won't issue you one. Your driving record follows you around from state to state.

no they ask and then run your name and ssn youd have to run a fake ssn and then take a chance on an arrest for a felony so try to square it with the judge in the courts there they may give you a break as a chance at a new life thats the story id push and just ask to talk to the judge in chambers for 20 minutes
