To fellowship. It is really important to be around like-minded people so that we can be encouraged and grow in our faith.
1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have FELLOWSHIP WITH ONE ANOTHER, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

The real reason Christians go to church is to show off their new clothes, talk behind other peoples backs, and smugly think to themselves that they're the only ones deserving to enter Heaven. The whole thing is a glorified dog and pony show.

we go to church to get closer to the one being that can help our lives. There is normally a peace that overcomes people in the church, it helps them to open up and be able to remove themselves from situations that they must deal with at home. It allows a semblance or removing ones self from the rest of the world to spend the time with the creator of your own faith.

When you get in trouble you church groupie are the ones there for you praying and lifting you up. Praise God for church.

Because you're gullible.
And because there is a con-man at the pulpit that needs to make some quick, easy cash for himself.
Hey, it beats working for a living right?

To worship with other believers. To learn about Gods word, to lift Him up with song, and to pray.

God asks to be worshiped by us. We can do this alone, but God also suggests corporate worship as a way of encouraging each other. (Heb 10:25)
