If you trust the Christian belief that Adam was made by God (not born) and Eve was created from Adam's rib bone, they would logically not have belly buttons because they were never in a womb connected to their mother with an umbilical cord. However, if you believe this creation story, you (in my experiences) also believe that they would have to have a belly button because all humans are essentially the same in being created in God's image.

A most intriguing question. Since they were directly created by God, I would say no. The Bible says Adam (meaning red earth) was made from the dust of the ground. Eve was made when God caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep. Then He removed one of his rids. After her creation, Adam said;"this is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh:she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man."
Since they were not connected to a placenta and had no human parents. It seems logical they did not have belly buttons.
I may be wrong, but I believe the male of our species has one less rib on the right side.

Yes. Unless you believe that creating them out of dust and a rib is word for word accurate and not an illustration. I believe that man was created gradually and Adam and Eve had parents.

logically, no. they were brought to life by God. they were not born of woman so logically they would have no bellybutton. for God created Adam in his own image. the belly button is from the umbilical cord that supplies sustenance to the baby. think about it.
blessed be

In Jewish folklore, a golem (גולם, sometimes [as in Yiddish] pronounced goilem) is an animated being which is crafted from inanimate material. In modern Hebrew the word golem denotes "fool", "silly", or even "stupid", "clue-less", and "dumb", and literally means "cocoon". The name appears to derive from the word gelem (גלם), which means "raw material". And they didn't have belly buttons lol

Adam and Eve are imaginary characters. They had whatever you want them to have.

Adam was created in adult form and Eve was grown from his rib, so no.
