No, my daughter is Autistic, I would never consider not having her. It can be hard and at times frustrating but it is so worth it.

That question depends on a lot of things, how old I am at the time, what kind of job I have, do I have a support system, am I emotionally capable of coping with this (people have breakdowns and you never know if you might be one) am I married, do I have other kids to support ( i.e. how will this decision affect them) what do you mean by retarded? Severely retarded as in the mind of a baby and in need of care their entire life, or mildly retarded and capable of some independence later on? so there is not flat yes or no answer to this question.

The retarded contribute nothing to society. They are a drain on the system and nothing more.
The only reason they are kept around and not killed the moment the retardation is discovered, is because of some misguided notion of "mercy".
It would be FAR more merciful to give them a painless lethal injection and put them out of thier and our misery.
And no, I'm not kidding.
Tell me ONE example of a retard making the world a better place, even by ONE iota, and I'll consider it. It's a safe bet though, no such event has ever happened...
Oh and for lover of jeho up there. You're an idiot. Read your manifesto once in a while ok?
"Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them. And Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD." -- Numbers 3:15-16
See? Children are not persons, according to the "wholly babble" until after they are a MONTH old.
And besides, ghod(tm) likes to kill foetuses all the time!
"Give them, O LORD: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts." -- Hosea 9:14
Nice, sociopathic scumbag you worship there...

No. Why would I? A child can be born "normal" and immediately following birth something could go "wrong" ... I wouldn't request to kill that child. So no. I wouldn't have an abortion. You don't know what type of person that "disabled" child could grow into. Miracles and blessings happen everyday. Every life is a beautiful and deserving life.
Besides, I feel abortion IS killing a life ... if it weren't it wouldn't be developing into hands, nose, face, legs, toes, etc... one must be ALIVE in order to grow ...

no. If you are against abortion, you believe you are taking a life. If the child is retarded, that would not justify taking a life.

Damn right! First, I don't care about abortion. It is a woman's right. Second, I don't like retarded people and wouldn't raise a retarted kid.

No, I would not. Religiously speaking, you get the baby God wants you to have. So if it is mentally disabled, it is for a purpose whether you know it or not. Who are we to have the power to take life through thing like abortion and euthanasia.

Very difficult question. I don't know. My brother was born mentally retarded, my mom didn't know it, and life was tough especially when we were younger. I don't think she would change a thing though, actually, I think he has always been my mom and dads favorite. I would have to say I would have the baby. Love is love. You would love that baby regardless.

No, I would not choose to have the abortion. The child did not choose to be retarded, so I should not be able to choose to kill it.

No, just because they are going to be different doesn't change the fact that they are human beings and deserve a chance at life just as much as anyone else. I don't think anyone has the right to take the life of any unborn child it isn't yours to take away.

No!! The bible is clear on killing a child.
Exodus 21:22Â “And in case men should struggle with each other and they really hurt a pregnant woman and her children do come out but no fatal accident occurs, he is to have damages imposed upon him without fail according to what the owner of the woman may lay upon him; and he must give it through the justices. 23Â But if a fatal accident should occur, then you must give soul for soul, 24Â eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25Â branding for branding, wound for wound, blow for blow.
So you see that the bible says that we are not to kill unborn children!
