Did he? No. But as an atheist, I believe that some day god will exist and save us all from the sins of the world.
Maybe not!

This question is misleading-any survey of the theologies of the major religion in the world will show that the ultimate concept of God is the infinite, transcendent, eternal, timeless Godhead- outside the universe. Tenses of existence do not apply to such a thing- there is no existed or not existed- just IS. If "God" ever existed at any point in the past, it would exist now- outside of time and our universe, simply being- no past not future- just an eternal present/presence- the infinite NOW.
Now let me make it clear, I am an atheist and find the concept of God beautiful as a myth, but ultimately logically useless, impotent, and intellectually paralyzing if taken with any seriousness.
On the other hand, if life on earth was accidental created as a throw away bacterial culture by a temporally bound hyper intelligent alien species that happened to pass by an pre-Archean earth on its way to the super massive black hole in our galactic core, then maybe the question has relevance. Did they become extinct before humans emergence from the crucible of evolution? Or are they in some infinitely remote region of space- or escaped the bounds of the universe itself! Will they know how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie pop? The world may never know.... ;-)

Yes, and you also exist because Divine Love created you in its image (spiritual likeness) because Love has to share. You are an Immortal Spiritual Being having a temporary Earthly learning experience. I had what is commonly referred to as a Near-Death Experience (N.D.E.) in 1972 at age 12, and I saw for myself that another world (dimension) composed of spiritual light actually exists beyond the material world that our perishable physical bodies experience here on Earth. I am a former College Bowl All Star (like the TV show Jeopardy except for college students), and I know some of my college professors could put forth some fairly convincing arguments for the non existence of God (a spiritual reality beyond the physical body, etc.), but they all fell quite short when asked simple questions like: What caused the "Big Bang," what is love, and what existed before the "Big Bang"? Since mankind was not aware of common radio waves, gamma radiation, X-rays, and microwaves 125 short years ago, things that could not be detected then, isn't it logical and quite possible that there probably are many other things that our feeble, infantile science cannot detect based on our current knowledge and technology? One day, many well meaning but sadly mistaken scientists finally will figure out some of the last remaining questions about existence and cross over that final hill expecting to be exalted. On the other side of that last hill, however, they will be quite surprised to find multitudes of people meditating, those who reached the correct conclusions millions of years earlier with more sensitive and less expensive technological instruments which often are commonly referred to as hearts and souls. Yes, God does exist, but it doesn't really have a gender or name. It doesn't mind at all however, if you find it easier to think about him or her or call it this particular name or that because it can tolerate or accommodate all thoughts quite well, something that many "scientists" have a hard time doing despite their often ferocious cries of "I'm a free thinker," etc. In fact, it doesn't even phase "God" if you choose at this particular moment in this particular lifetime to not believe because The Divine Source also created you with another "Godly" attribute called free will. What another great way to share.

The real question should be in what form are you talking about.. Many people believe that in the human form he has never existed but sent a son to us aka Jesus. but looking at the world and how it works god does exist so there is no DID. There is no past tense he does exist

WHO did you think created you?
Who can put together a tiny sperm and an egg and teach the sperm to enter the the egg to produce you over 9 months?
Who crafted the five fingers of your hands and your forefathers'?
Who gave everybody different fingerprints?
Who gave you life?
Who gave the first beings of the world life?
Who made animals?
Who feed the animals?
Who grew the grass?
Who made the Earth?
Who created the sun?
Who set the planets in rings around the sun?
Who loved you so much that He sent his son down to die for your sin.
Reflect on these questions and soon you'll realise that only God is capable of doing all these, and more. So to answer your question; yes i believe with my whole heart that God exists.

God must have a sense of humor
to so righteously resist,
turning the tables on you...
and pretending You
do not exist.

I don't think god exsists. The bible was written by people, so I really just think that people created the bible in order to create some guidelines so that society would not go crazy and commit three times the amount of crime that is commited present day.

God is our Savior. God is the essence of goodness and the being that sacraficed his Son, Jesus, to wipe away our sins and he stil loves us! God is in our hearts and in a comfort for many people. It depends on who you are and your upbrings. To me ,in my humble opinion, God is as real as the air we need to live and the sins of the world. God is love and life. We will never see him until this world is rid of sin. God exists in every heart and always will.
