It's only for a limited time and its called strawberry banana. It's pretty good too. I usually am strickly a vanilla girl but I'll be slurping that one till its gone.

I like banana milkshakes, but that's just me. I don't know of any McDonald's around here with banana milkshakes, but I know that the ones around here are trying new flavors, so maybe yours is trying a new banana flavor. Plus the machines they use are kind of weird, as in sometimes when I order a chocolate shake half of it is vanilla because the "flavor switcher" thing didn't kick in and rather than make it properly, they just give me the crap. Maybe that is what happened with yours.

Ihave no clue and all McDonalds can be different, so the best advise would be to call the McDonalds you went to and ask them and tell them what happened if they have a good manager they will pobally ask for your name and will put you on a list for a free shake next time!!

I had no idea mcDonalds had them though.it is possible since I have not been to a fast food restaurant in about 4 or 5 months..
I usually get my flavorfull milkshakes at a dairy isle or ice cream stand..

How does Vanilla have anything to do with Bananas. It's no substitution that's for sure!

Each month they have a "new" shake flavor that is available only for the month. The most famous is the mint, otherwise known as "Shamrock" that comes in March.

That's a good question.
I don't recall them having anything on the menu with banana.

I think they sometimes feature special flavors "for a limited time only."
But then I don't do McDonald's. I know Sonic and Jack in the Box do it too. Usually once you find one you love, they discontinue it...wahhhh.
