What is a boil?

A boil, also referred to as a skin abscess, is a localized infection deep in the skin. A boil generally starts as a reddened, tender area. Over time, the area becomes firm and hard. Eventually, the center of the abscess softens and becomes filled with infection-fighting white blood cells that the body sends from the blood stream to eradicate the infection. This collection of white blood cells, bacteria, and proteins is known as pus. Finally, the pus "forms a head," which can be surgically opened or spontaneously drain out through the surface of the skin. What is the treatment for a boil?

Most simple boils can be treated at home. Ideally, the treatment should begin as soon as a boil is noticed since early treatment may prevent later complications.

The primary treatment for most boils is heat application, usually with hot soaks or hot packs. Heat application increases the circulation to the area and allows the body to better fight off the infection by bringing antibodies and white blood cells to the site of infection.

Boils At A Glance:
A boil, or skin abscess, is a collection of pus that forms inside the body.
Antibiotics alone can be inadequate in treating abscesses.
The primary treatments for boils include hot packs and draining ("lancing") the abscess, but only when it is soft and ready to drain.
If you have a fever or long-term illness, such as cancer or diabetes, or are taking medications that suppress the immune system, you should contact your healthcare practitioner if you develop a boil (abscess).
There are a number of methods that can be used to prevent the various forms of boils.

Most importantly the website states that if the hot soaks don't work you must seek medical attention.

It usually means that bacteria (usually staph bacteria) have gotten under your skin, most likely from a small cut, picking at a pimple, or shaving. Boils are usually no big deal, but can be painful! They usually take 7-10 days to run there course. You can apply a heating pad to help bring it to a head, but other than that...just let it be.

You might want to see your doctor if the boil is very big or is very painful. The doctor will drain it out for you; it is usually not recommended that you pop the boil yourself because you could end up pushing the infection deeper below your skin.

A boil is a sign of a sicknes instead of getting sick , all the infection in your body forms in one spot and it wont release itself until all of it has formed the best thing to do is use triple antibiotic ointment or peroxid. some people cant take the pain so they go to the doctor and have them lanced.

LaTanya s answer is most correct, it stinks unnatural (like wet dirty dog hair in clumps facing a blow dryer), and is a collection of sicknesses that have never been fully treated, like all the zombie s and corpses piling to the exit gate of the graveyard at once. its not as simple as a one time visit to the doctor or hospital or multiple MRSA/VRSA treatment IV course broad spectrum and experimental anti-biotic runs, its gross under fat from a life time of fatness combined with destroyed internal organs and diabetes, These yeast boils with MRSA and other bacterial (new breed) parasites are all too often overlooked because Doctor s have no real information but quite frankly they are parasitic monsters inside you, I had a friend who constantly had these and on a trip to a CDC in Canada discovered the Truth the U.S. was hiding all this time from her, they were freaky new bacteria and they told her they would be running constant microscopic trials on the new parasites to try and figure out a new scientific name for these creatures, as the Earth heats up and we are closer to facing the end times the cess pool that already exists is mutating no doubt. Just most people only know one thing well so modern doctors often do not explore out of their own textbooks, she saw a disease control specialist who was also a microbiologist researching new species of Bacteria only recently found on Earth. He had a long name from Thailand and he expressed that I don t share it because while he has received many accolades he gets criticised by unscientific people because they do not understand the process of science. It s so hard to maintain respect when so many others want to also know it all. But Medical Microbiology I assure you is a very real and important subject in understanding what is happening to our planet, as well as our bodies.

Anyway it s not textbook anyway I assure you it s something else, be weary.
