I wanna an "Aerial Gunner" but that won't get me a career in the civilian world. I wanna know if i could switch to another job once i don't wanna do that anymore?? I hear being an Aerial Gunner is fun.

When you join the Air Force you can retrain into another career field before your first enlistment is up (actual time depends on the length of your first enlistment.)

You can also submit for retraining at anytime in your career, it is just not guaranteed like it is at the first re-enlistment.

Look into the 1A3 career field, great outside jobs with that.

well, one........if you want to join the Air Force.....learn to talk/type better........street just does not get it in the Air Force.....you want to talk like that.....join the Army.......
Two........if you actually get into the Air Force....and as an "Aerial Gunner" you WILL always be that.......
you can "cross-train" but if there is ever a shortage for Aerial Gunners, you will be pulled to that job.

It is hard to switch MOS once you are trained, and you not wanting to do it any longer don't mean a thing to the military.

After several re-enlistments you may be able to nogotiate for a new job assignment.
