They're not "trying" to. It just might seem that way sometimes. But just keep your spirit and everything will work out fine :-) They can only keep down the people that will let them keep them down.

There are good and bad people regardless of color. Walter Annenberg, a white Jew has given more money to the United ***** College Fund than anyone.
Bill Gates was on Oprah Winfrey show which showed a rich white high school that was spectacular and a poor mostly black high school that was in terrible condition. So the richest man in the world is getting out of the computer business. He is putting his resources and intelligence into helping the world with equality of schools being a priority.
In the mean time, avoid the Ku Klux Klan. Also if you read the whole web page below, it will help you. It is called "A New Religion" but I will change the name of it soon.

good, now there are bad people of all races, thats is the way it has always been and the way it will always be, the best you can do is work hard and make something of yourself, in these times only you can keep yourself down.

I'm not sure exactly what you are talking about.
I'm a white person, and I've never tried to bring any black people down. To the contrary, I have several black friends who I paid for them to start college.
You are being pretty stereotypical, and that's as offensive to me as if it would be to you if I were to stereotype black people.
Sure, there are some stupid white people in the world, just as there are some stupid black people. But that cant be used as an excuse to stereotype a whole race.
Instead, you should concentrate on what YOU can do to improve your own life and not on what OTHER PEOPLE do.

I don't think white people put black people down any more than the vice versa. The fact that you wrote U white people shows that you are just as willing to put down a white person. You are your own person. If anyone brings you down it is you that let's them. Black people have all the opportunities as white or any other legal citizen has here. It's just a matter of taking advantage of it.

I'm white and I don't bring black people down. In fact, I went to high school with several black folks and thought they were all wonderful people.
Are you sure you're getting that vibe because you're black or do you think it might be due to the way you act? There are a lot of white people whose actions I don't approve of. It has nothing to do with skin color, but everything to do with being a nice human being. So check out your actions and make certain you're being an honest, loyal, helpful, decent human being. ;)

Not all white people try to put black people down. Okay? You can't blame something on an entire race... because thats what causes racism.

Because you will not accept that we are all over the slave **** all but you. If the NAACP and you and alot of other ppl would stop crying "racist" you would be alot happier. You get **** we white ppl dont..have you seen the white ppl network?? No but there is a BET! Have you ever seen white ppl with thier own defense system like the NAACP??? Do we make all white movies..NO! Do we call Billy Graham to defend us on tv when we screw up no! you have Jesee! No none of this that would be racist...just who is bringing who down hon?

why do black people only want to ask why are white people trying to bring black people down. See, there are very succesful and intellegent blacks and they are trying to bring themselves up. But ya know, once they make it. It's funny how you hear other black people call them "uncle toms" whatever that's suppose to mean. So you see, is it really white peoples fault, or is it your own fault.

Why do you (and I mean you, not ALL black people) blame us? My kids ARE black and the last thing I am gonna tell those beautiful girls is that they can't be nothin becuz theyze black. You stereotype us, you are lookingfor it from us, so of course that's what you are going to see. You won't see what you ain't looking for, which is the fact that a lot of white people are nice.

I am white and alot of my friends are black so what are you saying?It is like it is always the white people getting out down!I mean I know about slavery and everything but stop being soooo sterotypical, I mean come on!
