My hair is dark brown and curly, and i have a moderately tan skin tone, but i don't know what color highlights i should get.
I want something fun, maybe a shade of blue, red, OR purple. I just don't know what color would look best. Also, it doesn't have to be those colors, those were just the first colors i had in mind that i liked.

OH DARN ...if i knew what product i used for mine (magenta streeks) i would so tell you (my hair is like yours only grlyer..and more wavy) its like, Awsome, it came out great. Do you want permanent? I'd say blue if you want to be crazy for a week, but blonde if its till you cut yer hair...Just get it wild and blond...haha.

Do a bleach blonde. I have Dark brown hair and put red highlights in it and you could hardley tell, so then i did purple and bleache blonde and it looked really good. Blue would be pretty cool too. But if you do red do a blonde color too that would look awesome i think. Good luck.

If you dont wanna dyeyour whole head get a dark red (not bright lipstick red) or try that red and dirty blonde. If you dont mind dying your whole head do black with blue highlight, blonde with black or brown,or black with silver you'd be the first just dont do too much silver or you might look old.LoL but make sure they streak it you dont want to look like a cheeta. good luck !!!!!!!

I think you should put some carmel hightlights throughout your hair,with maybe a touch of red. It will definately change your look without going to drastic at first.

well it depends on youe hair color like if its black do a blonde if brown definatly do a blonde if its blonde do a brown

maybe you should go for highlights. how about going jet black with a few blonde highlights?

Highlights, but they look better when it's just one or two tones below yours, if not it looks crappy
