A good physical exam by a veterinarian may help. It could be constipation, impacted anal sacs, neoplasia, arthritis of the spine, or something metabolic. These are just a few thoughts off the top of my head.

Well, I can help you. I have a yorkie like yours too. Maybe, you ask a vet what's wrong. Then, my next answer is he sleeps alot because maybe he is tired of something.
