Here's a quote I use when the world throws me a curve..."to be refined, gold must go thru the fire." You are going to have hard times...however, persevere...keep on keeping on...you'll make it thru. As far as losing weight, at one time, I weighed almost 300 lbs., however, in a year and a half, I lost 135 lbs., and have kept it off since 1999. Remember, you have people who love you and who want to see you succeed...good luck!

It seems we're in need of the same thing
You might consider seeing a doctor about this.
You shall not worry since lots of people experience it. it's hard to deal with life without inspiration.
I guess these times are supposed to be teaching us how to deal with life without any particular goal, drive, plan, excitement... the list goes on.
Losing time and life passing by drives one even more hopeless and anxiety comes along.
I wish I could say that depression is some kind of tough teacher showing how to hold on to life just relying on our spirit
not our body image, social status, plans in life, friends, hobbies etc.
During 10 years I tried really hard to go on with college, friends, hobbies and me too, weight loss.
either I'm "very unlucky" to have this disorder for so long (which doesn't seem true with people having it for more than a couple of decades)
or "a fool" who lost 10 years since age 18 and not deduced one right thing out of all this pain to save himself
or,
This is just a disorder... a horrible illness for some, a rough passage for others...

Try meditation. I use a grounding ceremony where you close your eyes and concentrate, imagine you are a tree, as you breathe in deeply, see your limbs growing up towards the light and your roots sucking water and nutrients up from the ground, as you breathe out, see your roots growing deeper into the soil and your limbs drinking up the sunlight. Do this for as long as you feel you need to each time and when you finish you should feel clear headed and relaxed and ready to tackle anything

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
Marianne Williamson quote

Try this one, it is one of my favorites!!
I must be willing to give up what I am in order to become what I will be. ~Albert Einstein
And then why not visit other quote sites and find ones that have meaning for you? I don't have any in particular sites to recommend at this moment because I just do random searches on quote topics like "love" or "fear" for example. Good luck!
