The same for straight, letting your hair air dry is best, no teasing only parting and spray gel when wet. Good to go woman! Best wishes. I hope you save money on those hair curling washing products. I really suggest spending the extra money on seperate shampoo and conditioner vs. combination 2 in 1.

For curly hair you should shower twice a week. Whoever said every other day is crazy... it'll get too oily... Anywayss... with curly hair avoid using irons, because most of the time they don't work and it dries up realllllly curly hair. As well, for every hair type, you should get a new shampoo every onece a month. And using a shampoo like Dove, Pantene, or Garnier Frutis are wayyy better than the chemical-covered Herbal Essences!
Good luck!

I have wavy hair when it is long and it tends to be frizzy. I have used a couple of brands that really seem to be good for wavy/curly hair. Infusium 23 Shampoo and Conditioner. They also have a leave-in treatment that is really light and won't weigh your hair down and really does away with the frizz. Also what i use most often is Aussie Mega 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner and leave-in conditioner/heat protector. And they have a a 3-Minute Miracle conditioner that you can use from time to time to really deep condition. ( I used it the night before my wedding ) All the Aussie products are really cheap at Wal-Mart!!!!***

I use Garnier fructis sleek and shine. It also has a deep conditioner and leave in treaments. It works wonders for the frizz that curly hair tends to have.

Don't wash you hair everyday! I rinse mine out each day and condition but shampooing everyday dries it out.
Stay away from styling products with alcohol.
Try putting in a little conditioner before you ad your normal styling products.
Give it a rest... when I can I wash my hair and put in a little contitioner and wear it in a braid.
Never blow dry with HOT air.
Keep bleaching and dying to a minimum
Get a tiny trim every 8 to 10 weeks.

Tons of conditioner. I use a really good hair masque once a week in addition to intense conditioner. Garnier actually makes a good one if you don't want to spend a fortune. I also use Garnier Fructis leave in conditioner. It smells great and keeps your hair in great shape.
