I just don't get why my g/f gets pissed of when i leave a mark on her neck? If i got a hicky, I'd be showing it off to the guys at work, and be like, oh ya and i got one a LOT lower too. ;-)

Well i Love giving my boyfriend hickeys and he loves giving me hickeys. i work with the public and i know that the public would treat me differently if they saw a big o hickey on my neck so i tell my boyfriend not to put it where its noticeable. maybe a little big down more by my collar bone? but my boyfriend on the other hand likes me to make him ones where its totally noticeable so he can show it off to all the girls and guys lol.

I think it's because some girls think that if they have a hickie they are a "slut" and a lot of girls don't want to have to deal with the sterotypes and slander that goes along with a hickie. It's cool for guys because that means he's probably "getting some" and it's okay for guys...but not for girls. Which is something I don't understand...but anyway...hope I helped

Even though it might feel good to have a man kiss and suck on our necks, it doesn't mean we want a temporary tatoo of what happened the night before....especially because it's going to be there for more than one day.....I for one think hickies look a bit trashy and are embarassing if seen ( and pointed out by others).

Because guys think with her d-cks, while women tend to think about what others might think about them if they got hickies on the neck all the time.
For men, it's like we could get a hicky on our *** and we'd be showing it off going "look, my g/f gave me a hicky on my ***"
Women are just different, with sensitivity for different things. What if a woman went around telling the world you has a 2 inch prick?

Because girls don't want to wear turtle neck tees at all times when they got a hickey. Try giving her in the inside instead of her neck

A girl doesn't like it because it tells the world what she has done sexually and it makes her seem trashy to others because they think that she doesn't care that everyone knows she lets her husband suck on her neck. It's probably not you that she dislikes, but the showing of it.

Because it makes her look like a s***. N girls dont need people cheerin them on cuz they got a hicky(unlike guys). They like 2 keep their intimate lives personal. They dont need da whole world knowing. Plus it looks nasty.

the only reason i dont like them si bc i am still in high school and my parents would FREAK, my boyfriend is black so his arent as noticable but his parents are the same way...they say hickies lead to sex, and both of our parents trip out about the whole teen pregnacy thing....we get sex talks a lot and it sucks *** bc its the same thing every time

tell her mom that you want her daughter very a lot and that you probably did not recommend any disrespect to both of them. Hickeys are the stupidest element you may do, why do not you in reality pee around the girl's domicile and mark your territory???
