get twisties in the front then with the extra hair from the twisties curl it. and have the rest of your hair straight, sounds funky looks cute! my aunt is a hairsylist

Put in hot curlers or sponge curlers, they're cute for most lengths. The shorter your hair the tighter the curls should be, so for long hair have loose curls.
