Sounds like you need a life!! Not in a mean way but some friends of your own. What is going to happen when your sister is married? Things will, and I am afraid that if you do not have friends it will be a very difficult time for you. Just try seeking new friends and activity partners to help occupy your time.

She's going to be getting married soon and then this will be an on-going problem. You need to start to get out there and make other friends. It may never be the same as the relationship you have with your sister, but it's better than sitting around feeling sorry for yourself. Give it a try you may be surprised.

It's one of those growing up things we have to go through at some point. Your sister is moving on with her life - not that she's not going to continue to do things with you - but you're going to feel that she isn't spending as much time with you as she use to. And that's true - she's going to be married.
Pull the thorn out quickly so it won't hurt as much, and find things you can do with your friends or on your own that you and your sister did. That way, when the two of you get together and do things together, it'll be more comfortable when she's not able to because of obligations.

Time to make some new friends, or revive old friendships. It's not healthy to spend all your time with one person, plus your sister will be getting married and will probably have a lot less time to hang out. If she wants to start a family that will definitley cut into your shopping/ movie time. It's cool that you two are so close, but you shouldn't be lost without her. Learn to be indepenent, and amuse yourself. Find a hobby or something.

I think you should find a way to volunteer in your community or even find a job. You said you and your sister goes shopping together. In order to shop, you need money. Find a fun summer job where you can meet new people who can hang out with you this summer.

Go out and have fun without her. I am sure she isn't giving you a second thought now that she's made her plans. Don't you have other friends??? When she gets married she will start to chum with married friends. You will always be her sister, but you really need to expand your friendships.

i think this is a great chance to try and be alone, if she is engaged pretty soon she wont be able to do everything with you, so this is a little try of what's going to happen in the future. hang out with friends, read, go shopping by ur self.

Find your own place in the world and go out and explore...that way you can both share stories of the fun times you've had apart when you meet up again! :)
