metro is not gay, metro means you care how you look a man may get a manicure and he is not gay. a metro person would never leave the hose in jeans and a t shirt but they are heterosexual

Well a metro is a person who acts gay, but isn't gay to attract girls. This can be from getting a perm to full blown Queer Eye. The whole point for metro is the guy taking care of himself, so the girls will like him better. However, being metro can send mixed signals.

The thing about girls is that they may be attracted to metros at first, but evetually will long for the attention of a "real" man. Someone who will protect them, and stuff like that; and not go "Oh my! I'm being chased by an ant!" It's good to take care of yourself, but it's best to maintain your manhood as well.

As for your friends being..uhm.. that way... just observe if they are attracted to girls. If they act like butt-buddies with eachother rather than finding girls they may be really vally, or gay.

I am the furthest from being metro sexual but i have freind who could be in that category and they are not gay. Metro sexuals are guys who break outside of the norm. Guys are supposed to fart, belch fight and drink, take 10 minute showers and not take 40 minutes to get dressed. But metro sexuals are more into fashion and and some toehr things we associate as "feminine". When a guy takes forever to get dressed that goes outside of what the "average guy" does. So anything outside of guys starts to lean towards the female side. So basically metro sexuals just do things that we as a society has accepted as being feminine traits and not masculine, which are the same group of traits that we associate with gay guys.

No, metro is an modern man's new found self love. Is it wrong to want to look better or feel better? Bathing with pumice soap while exfoliating is extremely uncomfortable and causes dry leathery skin. Wearing burlap robes is not fun even for monks. And who wants a haircut that looks like you escaped Leatherface in a dark Alley with a pair of clippers. James Bond is the model of metro, suave and refined.

Abercrombie and Hollister are just about the most queer places a guy could possibly shop.

I would never consider dating a guy who owned a single article of clothing from either place.

Sounds a little weird for my taste in men.I like a man to be clean
but not a queen in drag.It gives me the shivers, not good ones either.

It doesn't mean they are gay at all. They are just guys who happen to care about their appearence and neatness. Guys should care about their appearence, and where ever the whole 'guys should be smelly/dirty' thing came from should have never started.

Too feminine for me! Who wants a guy that acts all pretty? They may not be gay,but I consider them ,"not man enough for me."
