In Canada It is with clamato, vodka, worcestershire, tobasco, lime juice and celery salt on the rim. I went to Seattle and they looked at me like I was crazy when I ordered one from the bar.

The reason why they looked at you as if you were crazy is because a Caesar is a Canadian drink. I lived in Florida around 6 or 7 years ago and my first weekend down there I ordered a Casear - I got the Salad. Caesar's were originally made in Winnipeg because one weekend, a local bar ran out of Tomato Juice for Bloody Mary's but they had lots of Clamato juice. No one really knows why they had Clamato juice but it changed the Bloody Mary forever and to us Canadians, we'll always have a Caesar before a Mary.

Some border states will know what a Bloody Caesar is but it doesn't happen often. Hope that helps. You're not crazy...it's just that it's not a common drink in the States.
