i was told today that there is no vitamin d or a in goat milk, however we raise goats and of course they milk. since my toddlers ages 2 and 3 have tried goat milk they wont drink cow milk. any suggestions??

Goat milk is definitely healthier overall... the vitamin d in cow milk is artificially added (it isn't naturally present)... they add it because vitamin d is necessary to absorb calcium. You know where else you can get it, though, is from the sun! Just have your kids play outside and they will absorb vitamin D. You can obtain it from other sources, also. As for the vitamin A, goat milk has beta carotene in it, which is processed by the body into vitamin A. So you're good on the goat milk for sure. Good job having your kids on it.

try putting the cows milk with something like cereal or put some chocolate in it. i was raised on goat milk, but i got use to cows. good luck

I think you should tell them that the cow milk is it is goat milk and they wont even know it is cow milk and if they love it tell them it is cow milk and if they don't like the milk tell them the opposite

try stirring some of that into cow milk to get them to drink it, or into goat milk to boost the nutrients.

I like Betsy, she is pretty good. I have always had her.
In chocolate form, because she taste better with chocolate in her!

cow milk is better (tasting)

nutritionally, I don't know which is better.
