18th Street in Adams Morgan for dancing

Polly Ester's when reminiscing for big hair.

Ice skating across from the white house on Pennsylvania avenue during the holiday season.

The Jefferson Memorial Tidal Basin on a paddle boat during the cherry blossom festival.

Anywhere on the mall in late April to enjoy the tulips.

In Albert Einstein's lap at the National Academy of sciences with the one you love.

Cap City Brewing company for beer and fries.

On the balcony of the JFK Center at sunset.

The Aerospace museum - the best!

Tony Cheng Chinese restuarant in Chinatown - the best food in the world.

And go see Abraham Lincoln statue. The one they are always showing in the SouthWest Airline commercial. Sit on his lap.

But Boston is still a better place to go to college.

Anywhere in Adams Morgan. That's where all the dance clubs and "hot spots" are. Also the U Street area. You will find LOTS of college kids in both neighborhoods. Avoid Georgetown-- it's really, really dull these days.

Clyde's seems to be THE place to hang out now. They have several locations throughout the DC area but the more popular one is next to the MCI Center downtown.

H20 is probably the hottest club in D.C. I think it is in SE, on the water. the 9:30 club is also popular for concerts
