"Look, Lord!", said the angel. "The humans have come up with the theory of libertarian free will.... just like You said they would."
Think about it.
A little deeper.

Yes, for God does not force you. However, you have to pay the price of the choice you made, at the day of salvation.
Jhn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jhn 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Jhn 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
From John 3:16-18, we know that those who believe in God will have everlasting life and those that don't, will be condemned. So yes, although you have a choice now regarding to choose God or not, please remember that your choice affects where you'll spend your afterlife.
I advise you to make the right decision now, and that is to start having a good relationship with Our Father, ( for we don't know when's the day of salvation and you certainly don't want to be caught up in sin when He comes back, do you?)
That's all I have to say regarding your question
I hope my answer was useful and I pray that you will make the right choice in life.
Take care and God bless.

Yes, we have the choice of whether to accept Him or not. If we didn't, that would make Him into a cruel and heartless God who allowed people to be born just to damn them to hell with no hope of salvation. . . which is utterly unlike anything said of Him in scripture, where He is described as a loving Father who doesn't wish for any to be lost. The problem with this (to some) is that it might be viewed as giving human beings a part in our own salvation. . . that it might, in fact, be something we had to do to earn our way into Heaven, instead of salvation being the completely free gift of God. Maybe that's a legitimate objection, but I accept the solution proposed by Arminius- that God offers sufficient grace to every human being (whether saved or not) to allow them to make the choice, and that He plants in every heart the yearning after Him. That still makes salvation His free gift, since it would be impossible even to accept it without His grace, but at the same time it avoids the intolerable conclusion of making Him the author of evil.

No. Research has shown that very religious people share som common genes. So we all seem to lean in some direction genetically.
Phineas Gage was a good person until a pipe went through his head and he became very profane. Perhaps many profane people have the same area of the brain affected?

No, In my opinion this is no free will. If there is a God he controls everything ...so why would he give us free will?? Is he soo needy that he needs us to love him ? why hes all powerfull. He could force us to love him. but no we need to choose him ...Why?? Free will is an illusion. God ( if there is one) controls everything so he controls are paths in life..he gives you the illusion of chocies..but everything is in his control so these choices are minor. Are paths are already made and the people we see in life are there to help us learn what we need to ..like per determind. free will is an illusion to make us feel we are important and have say. It's like are election back in 2000 Gore won but behold Bush got in ...soo the election was rigged jus like are free will. That why we can't question Gods divine plan.

all your hatred in the direction of God is taking off to make me have self assurance, you're tryna convince your self. because of the fact your questions blatantly exhibit you think God exists, so..... ???? i'm guessing you basically do in comparison to God. a lot of persons interior the worldwide experience the way you experience. yet God isn't your subject. Your mad on the incorrect guy. God is powerful, and what ever is telling you in any different case, you could desire to truly verify the source. notwithstanding soreness you're in, no its no longer gonna get greater beneficial as long as you save pushing God away. Draw close to Him, and he will Draw close to you. instead of hating Christians and hating GOD, have you ever although approximately telling Him the way you experience? because of the fact if I have been you i might initiate, in view which you for sure comprehend he's actual. and you for sure have had some harm from the Christian faith. yet God isn't the reason for it. Disobedience gets us harm, human beings harm us, and then we blame God. wager whos guffawing on an identical time as you component the finger at particularly everyone yet him (devil)

Yes, we do have a free will.
(Jos 24:15) And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
We have a choice to make, but remember there could be consequences if we make the wrong choice.
(Jdg 5:8) They chose new gods; then [was] war in the gates: was there a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel?
(Deu 30:15) See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
(Deu 30:19) I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
(Jer 21:8) And unto this people thou shalt say, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death.
You can choose to believe whatever you want, but remember that with God, it is a life or death issue for eternity.
During this life time, we can chose to have fun, and do whatever we want to while ignoring God, and then pay the price for our sins. Jesus blood is able to cover your sins, but you have to ask. "The gift of God is eternal life...", but you will not be forced to accept the gift. ou can have your hearts desire now, and then die forevr. The other side of this is to exercise self control, and serve the God of Heaven, and receive the gift of eternal life.

I think that God actually does the choosing, but if a person is chosen, they have the free will to reject God and His teaching.

Yes we have free will. God is not a tyrant and does not force us to love him. If that were the case, what kind of loving relationship would that be?
