You need to talk to someone(physiologist, counseler, etc) be surprised now much they can help. I'm 25 and been fighting cancer for the last 3 years(secound time on chemo now), but I'm happier with my life more than I had been in years. Why? I realy changed the way I looked at the world and life. I spend my free time with my hobbys rather than bars, time with good friends and family not people that don't realy care for me, looked for love rather than sex and found it, etc, etc. Life isn't easy but you can find peace/enjoyment in this life if you live it right(not talking about not drinking, god, etc all that stuff). What's right is realy what you want in your heart and doing everything you can end up where you want to be. Well just rambling now, but hope you get what I'm saying, but realy go talk to someone atleast once.

First of all you have to realize that trying to escape your problems isn't working. I really don't know how severe these problems are, but when I was facing so many problems I felt overwhelmed to the point of trying just to ignore them, but they never went away. So I finally started to eliminate them one at a time, if you try to take care of these problems all at once it is to overwhelming. If it is a problem you can't take care of on your own maybe you could get some help or advice from your local pastor or from an older peer. Also praying is another alternative.

Get to know lots of people who can support you and who can give you leads to change your life. That is called networking. Be genuine in your friendships and offer to help as much as you can. At the same time, tell them honestly that you want to change your life. Seek advice from them on how to find a good job that you like, and try and learn new skills and activities from them. Develop a shared hobby with your friends. Most importantly, learn to deal with your problems yourself with the support that you get. Take baby steps and don't be afraid to turn to someone or get help when you stumble. Your new life begins with you. Take the first step with confidence.

Be strong, trials will pass. Sometimes life hands you lemons, make lemonade. Time doesn't heal wounds but makes them easier to bear. When one door closes, another opens. If you find yourself as a rock in a hard place, this too will pass, some things take time to work themselves out. If you feel that you are being punished recite this Gayatri: `You who are the source of all power, whose rays illuminate the world, illuminate also my heart, so that it too can do your work.' When reciting these verses, visualize the sun's rays streaming forth into the world, entering your heart then streaming out from your heart's center & back into the world. This is a powerful & life enhancing prayer. There is a caution here not to give yourself airs, even in a tme of bountiful energy you are required to face and vanquish your refusal to let right action flow through you. Nourish this capacity, for it is a mark of true humility. Practice the art of doing without doing: Aim yourself truly & then maintain your aim without manipulative effort. Meditate on Christ's words: "I can of mine own self do nothing" (John 5:30). For by our own power we do nothing: Even in loving, it is Love that loves through us. This way of thinking & being integrates new energies & permits us to flow into wholeness, which is your ultimate goal.
Love yourself, be happy. Happiness is the most important thing in the whole world. Everything else flows from happiness. I hope this helps!

It depends on what the problems are. Some people find a lot of help in 12 step groups (there's one for just about everything), some people go to counseling, some people look to God. Your individual situation has to be considered.

Do something small each day just for yourself that you enjoy. At least 30 min to 1hr a day.Everyone deserves this and don't feel bad about it. Think positive thoughts, even when things are going bad and do something to help someone who is worse off than you in someway... It feels good trust me. : )
