cook on low covered,once thawed out turn up heat, dont add water will boil away flavour. add little olive oil not butter.

You do not fry Italian sausages in butter. Cook them in a little water or at best, a little chicken broth. Brown them lightly and then put a lid on the pan, and cook. Add some green peppers and onions and even some roasted red peppers. This may take about 15-20 minutes, once the lid is on.

Keep the heat low or you'll burn the butter. Next time use EVOO.
Add some onions and bellpeppers, maybe som tomato sauce, and simmer slowly.

Hurry...TAKE THAT BUTTER OUT!! add 1/2 cup of water with i tsp of seasame seed oil(keeps moist and flavorful) cook for about 18 minutes while partially boiling....you'll love it! But that butter...No baby, you'll ruin it!

Why's you put butter with it? Sausages are already greasy. Anyhow, I say you can put crushed and diced tomatoes in it with veggie mix...and hot sauce. Hope that helps:) Enjoy your dinner.
