How do you get to heaven?

hey i just want to see what people will say to this. people believe a lot of different ways. so i just want to see what people will give me. go ahead what do you think?

Simply by recogining you are a sinner and seperated from God the Father, The Word says in many places but one place clearly where Jesus spoke, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man commeth to the Father except by me." Jesus is referred to as the Lamb of God. In the old testament the Isrealites had to sacrifice a perfect lamb, inspected by the priests, as their sin sacrifice. Jesus came to earth humbling himself as a man. He did many miracles, showing mercy, compassion, healing many and performing deliverances. Then at the last day of His life Jesus was arrested, beaten with a whip with hooks and blades. Then he was forced in this half dead state to carry his cross through Jeruselem with one mans partial help to be nailed to that cross, stripped naked, scoffed and spit at all for our sins. He was the lamb of God. He did die within four hours as a might storm with an earthquake occurred at the moment of His death. Dead people rose from their graves. Jesus was then placed in a tomb qaurded by two Roman soldiers. Jesus went into hell to take the keys to death and on the third day as He and many prophets prophesied, Jesus arose from the dead. He spent time showing himself to many who knew Him and then arose to sit at the right hand of the Father constantly praying for his believing children. Salvation comes as simply and freely as accepting Jesus's sacrifice to pay for your sins. Much more will be revealed as He will give you His Holy Spirit to counsel you. One day every knee will bow and every tounge confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of the Father. Make Jesus your Lord now!

There is only one way into God's heaven. You must believe and trust in what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross for you. He died for your sins, He was buried and took your sins away, and He rose again the third day for your justification. He did it all, There is nothing you can do but have faith in what He did for you. Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Jesus said "I am the way". So what did Jesus say about being saved? "He that believes and is baptized shall be saved" (Mark 16:16 a). Jesus said it. I believe it. If you do not believe Jesus, you shall die in your sins (Mark 16:16 b, John 8:24) Every example of conversion after the ressurection of Christ followed the same pattern. Hear, believe, repent, confess, and be baptized for the forgiveness of sins, then live faithfully.

Jesus is the way. There are no other roads to heaven but Jesus. He is the GATE and those who enter will be saved. It doesnt matter how good you are, what your religion, how much money you gave to the church, your nationality.....the only way to heaven is Jesus........Those who call upon the Lord are saved. You must call upon the Lord, believe and confess Jesus came to earth in the flesh to die for you on the cross and was raised from the dead from God and you will be saved.

Heaven! Do you realize that there is only one "religious belief structure" that talks about 'Heaven'? Christianity! Not even the Jews have a clearly agreed upon doctrine about the afterlife, and most other religions allude to heaven, but call it other things within their own cultures. i.e. Paradise. Therefore, if one is trying to achieve "heaven" as referenced by Jesus, the only way that Jesus said to get there was 'through' him / His way. That does NOT mean we believe in Jesus. Many "believe" in Jesus. What it DOES mean is that we believe what Jesus said about himself and not just what we chose to accept because it seems inoffensive or neutral. Jesus, (AKA God - revealed to mankind so that we can understand him) never tolerated being lukewarm on this issue of our degree of belief in him. The Bible says that our apathy makes him sick to his stomach (Rev. 3:16) He demands not our actions or thoughts, but our LOVE. The late Keith Green wrote a song based on Matthew 25 -wherein Jesus taught us a basic truth about 'earning' heaven and Keith made a statement during a concert that I have never forgotten, " You don't go to heaven because you are good, nor hell because you are bad. You go to either because of your relationship with, not knowledge of Jesus Christ". Jesus said that many people are going to point to the things they've done as reason to enter, and He'll say, "depart from me, I never KNEW YOU! (Matt. 7:23) Therefore, to get to the heaven that Jesus referred to as our eternal and "better than we can even imagine" (1 Cor 2:9) home, and feel like we actually belong there, we need to have a passionate love for Jesus, because that's what heaven really is. It will be a place all about Jesus, and all for those who crave to be with him. If you're looking for something that tickles your ears and assuages your fears about the end of your life, but you refuse to believe what Jesus actually said, consider yourself warned but, it doesn't have to be that way. Jesus is the way. Read the Bible and he'll show you.

Okay, seriously...I think you just have to be a "good person" and do not sin, do not hate, do not wish bad things, do not lust, etc... Of course, there's no such thing as a perfect person, but to minimize your sins will help you find your way to heaven.

It's not what I think, it's what I know. The only way to heaven is by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal LORD and Savior. To know that His death on the cross paved the way for you to go to heaven. He told us He is the way, the truth and the life. That the only way to the Father (heaven) is through Him

1. Believe in Jesus Christ...He lived...He died for you...He rose again on the third day from the grave...for you and me. Believe He is the son of God.
2. Pray to Him for forgiveness of your sins and ask Him into your heart.
3. Tell someone about your decision.

It clearly states in the Bible that Jesus said "No man shall come unto the father except thru Me" and "God sent his only Son that whosoever believes in Him will have everlasting life" In order to be saved and you must believe that Jesus is the Son of God, born of a virgin and died on the cross for all of our sins.
