a jehovah's witness freakin' woke me up today at 10am. what were they thinking?! i answered in my underwear and no bra. if they're gonna wake me up, they're gonna get what they deserve. I figured anyone who knows me, knows not to come over before noon, so he got a show. I asked him if he wanted to come in and have sex and I promised to praise the Lord many times.

As a former mormon mormon missionary I can say this:
We want a little bit of your time for you to listen to our message about God's plan of happiness for you.
This will include reading parts of the Bible and the Book of Mormon (the more the merrier) and then praying to god, sincerly, to ask if what you've heard and read is true.
If God tells you it is, then persue it. If he tells you it's false, then we'll leave you alone (you may have to ask twice).
Pretty simple.

Yeah right, they don't want your money. The Jehoveh's witnesses want to give you two pamphlet/magazine things and the Mormons want to give you a book of Mormon then they both want to teach you their church's version of the gospel. They want money . . . yeah right. Well I know the Mormons don't and the Jehovah's Witnesses never asked me for money so I don't think they do either.

Even if no one were to listen to them, they would still go from house-to-house. They are trying to follow Christ's command:
(Matthew 28:19-20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded
So, hopefully a householder wil learn about Jesus, become a disciple and get baptized. However, the primary mission is for the Christian to TRY.

Jehovah's Witnesses simply are spreading the good news of God's kingdom....they have been commissioned by Jesus Christ to do so...and they have the legal right to do this according to the US supreme court. They are simply looking for people interested in learning what the Bible teaches, if u dont want them to stop at your house anymore, simply tell them to put you on the 'do not call' list for the territory

I'm not sure about the Mormons but Jehovah's witnesses are really nice people. I'm am not a Jehovah witness however if i was to pick a religion that would be the one id pick. they live by the bible. and know their bible. its the king James bible only we don't talk like thee and thy so its been translated to our terms of understanding. Mathew24:14 tells them to go door to door and try to seek out the people that may be interested in the truth. so they are doing as they are commanded. if your not interested let them know. who knows maybe you have the right heart and god is leading them to you? Ive taken their lititure before it is very interesting. i search the scriptures to make sure what they say is in the bible. it always is. thanks

The Jehovah's Witnesses and The Mormons don't want anything from you, they want to share the Gospels (The Good News) about Jesus Christ with you. That's it, if you don't want to accept them then just tell them and they won't bother with you again.

Actually they don't want anything from you nor can you give them anything. They believe in sacrificeing their time, energy, money and everything else to try to talk to you about the bible to save your soul. There's is a thankless job.
trying to help moron's like you to learn the bible.
Why don't you just read the bible. That's what they want you to do. I admire what they do that would take a lot of courage and unselfishness on their part. the least you could do is be nice.

All they want is for you to listen. They would like it if you read the iformation they give you but all they really want is a person who is honest and will listen to their church. I am sure if they make you uncomfortable you can just ask them to leave. With the mormons you can even ask them not to come back and they will make sure not to bother you again.

After encountering the muling, rampalian wretch in the form of my daughter, they steer clear of my house, (thankfully), but I know once some Mormons mowed my neighbors yard in 109 degree weather, just to proselytize them.
