Correct.

But Hitler is not fine now, he is dead.

Remember, he also saw his entire vision of a third glorious empire crumble before his eyes, before he commited suicide with his wife in a cramped cement bunker while Berlin fell.

He got his anyways.

If you mean is he burning in hell, I don't know and neither does anyone else. We do know this:

1) He's dead and gone.
2) Ever since his death, the people of Europe and the world have been trying to figure out how this little creep nearly took the world away from us. One of these decades we may find the answer.

I don't believe in hell or any kind of afterlife, so I can't wish eternal torment upon a Hitler, or a Stalin, or a Mohammad Atta. But if we remember, then that's a kind of eternal life -- an eternity of infamy -- isn't it? To be forever hated for doing what they thought was right -- I can't think of a better punishment for such criminals.

In eastern religion's viewpoint there is no penalty from God for doing wrong except for Karma. (Karma is paid through multiple lives where one is destined to complete certain tasks to remove or repay Karmic debt. Most certainly Hitler will pay in some way!)) We live in GOD'S dream. God's dream is our world and all the people and things in it. He loves us all unconditionally and we come into this world agreeing to play the roles that He has designated (even the role of Hitler). We have free will however and we forget what we have agreed to. In this type of world a Hitler can exist. How Hitler's persecuted ones chose to respond to an almost "certain death" looming ahead is key. It is certain that some gave up hope and lived a fearful, horrible existence. I am sure also that there were those who chose to look at each day as a gift and made incredible deep connections with their fellow men and women captives, and that kindnesses beyond measure were made incredible because of the unthinkable circumstances. Lessons for those of us who barely know or care to know our next door neighbors! We all have the ability to live our lives happily or filled with suffering (suffering caused by believing that we are in charge, in control of everything and that some how when we fail, it is completely our fault) "The Ordainer (God) controls the fate of souls in accordance with their destiny (Karma). Whatever is destined not to happen will not happen, try as you may. Whatever is destined to happen will happen, do what you may to prevent it. This is certain. The best course, therefore, is to remain silent." Ramana Marahishi

As has been noted, atheists are in undemanding words united through a non-perception in any god. Their perspectives fluctuate notably on different matters. some christians attack evolution, some are evolutionary biologists. some muslims are all about peace, some blow up innocuous human beings. not common to pin a international view on any team. speaking for myself (an atheist) the examples you provide are all the more effective reason no longer to believe there's a "in simple terms" god, and that faith hasn't stopped any atrocities. facet be conscious: there became some small degree of justice for Hitler. He were particular he'd win, he would rule the international. Failure in no way surpassed off to him. contained in the proper he became hiding in a bunker, bombs falling round him, with finished information he had completely failed. He then took his own existence. perchance no longer the "justice" he deserved yet for him this would were Hell, albeit too short.

justice is in this world. evil is it's own punishment.

Just because there is no god does not mean that atheists have no moral conception of right and wrong. We have love for our fellow humans that is not COERCED by a god that punishes and rewards.

Besides, if your only reason for doing good is to get into heaven and not doing bad to avoid hell, are you REALLY moral? or just working the system.

Justice is a human thing and is not perfect. It is up to us to develop better systems to punish wrong-doers. It's ultimately just self-defense.

in a christian view: if Hitler would have repented right before his death, had asked jesus to forgive his sins, then Hitler would be in heaven now.

i really prefer thinking of Hitler rotting in a wooden box in the ground, how about you?

We all die wether we did good or not. Yes, evil people often do get away with their crimes. I know it's not pleasant but that's what happens.
