yes its ok to want to be rich, the best thing you can do is take steps to enjoy a better life and more money like making sure you finsih school to get better job or if your older than that then get into better jobs with more money and get a better savings plan, money sometimes gets handed down to people from faily and inheritances so they never really work hard for there cash and get it easier than others but im 25 with two cars, boat and a beach house and tons of motorbikes and live my life with lots of happiness but it took alot of hard work and working weekends when my mates were partying and working sundays when they were getting over hang overs but now i dont need to work and enjoy my life every bit so put in the hard yards and make it worth while and you go for ahigh society rich life we all desearve good life

i know what you are going through, my dad is a teacher, he does not make a lot of money, my best freind's dad is a doctor, he makes a lot of money. but i still have a good freind, yes i want more money, yes some things would be nice to have, but i am happy with what i have for now, one day when i am out of college i will have a good job, make more money and all that, but to get there you have to go through the hard times, my best freind's dad came from a very poor family, look at him now. just wait and see what the Lord can do.

why? is being rich considered a crime in your family? they don't like rich people? There's nothing wrong on wish for the life's style that money can bring, but if you only want that just because you want to please your friends or isn't because of your own ambitions....I think you are wasting your time, because you shouldn't being so worry on pleasing your friends, they should like you, and looks they do, because of your personality, because you and them have same values, enjoy things in common and many others reason. If they care about only having rich friends, they wouldn't have you as their friend.
I think they like you because of you so it seems they already feel pleased by you, not caring for your level of social economic class.
Be careful on not become an *** kisser of rich people, because they can recognize the difference between a friend and an *** kisser, or you are the one who discriminate poor people and don't have and don't want to have people on the same social economic level you have....I think you are so worry about have rich friends that seems you are up to everything in oder to keep them or not to have friends like you.

Is not important. What makes the difference is how rich is their heart. True friendship has nothing to do with money. @ Voice from the Past Looool

Be who you are and be proud of where you came from. Money cannot buy friendship or happiness. Be happy with what you have and always know that there are people less fortunate than you are. Good luck.

Genuine friends do not care what financial status you are in. It is very superficial on your friends behalf if they have a problem with it. Remember, your friends more than likely didn't earn their money, their parents did. I look at it as a goal to better myself.
