No. Entertainment is only for the godless heathens who don't know any better. Anyone who really loves God ought to show their piety by being miserable. God hates people who try to enjoy life.

The fact that the answer to this is not clear just shows what legalistic, arogant idiots Christans can be, and I AM a Christian, just not an idiotic one.

Of course entertainment is good. It's not what you DO, but what you THINK that determines who you are. Why do people think that Grace goes away after salvation? Saved by Grave, live by Grace (what God has done, not what you can do). Now if your form of entertainment happens to be topless bars, what will you be thinking about? If you can concentrate on the Lord and be filled will the Spirit in a topless bar(and it is possible), then go for it. But then, what's the point?

I should hope so. God created women for men. that alone tlls me He is a God of great entertainment. There is forms of entertainment that is not beneficial; things that are selfish, hurtful, and cruel. Walking in a flower filled park on a 70 degree day is great entertainment. Dancing if you like it can be great fun and excercise. King David danced in his underwear before his Lord as David's wife made fun of him. Playing with my kitty cats is a very rewarding entertainment. T.V. can be good and it can be bad. The Internet can be good and it can be bad. Plain entertainment is good.

No! If you even think about being entertained you'll go straight to HELL - HELL - HELL ! ! ! You must pray instead, 12 hours each day, and spend the other 12 in reading the Bible and meditating on the passages you've read.

(Sorry. I was just trying out for an evangelical opening in my neighborhood church.) ;-]
