This is a poll I am doing; of course, it is not at all scientific since the answers will be skewed by several factors. If you do not believe Jesus was God, please state what you believe about Him in brief terms. If you do believe Jesus was God, please state why you believe this; also preferably in brief terms. Thanks!

Just so no one is confused, I am a christian and Trinitiarian, and the only reason I neglected to mention this was simply to show that I am genuinely interested in your answers. Thanks everyone!

No, I think Jesus was just a man, if he even existed at all.

Not only do I believe that Jesus is God, but I believe that he alone is God. There is no trinity. The spirit of Jesus is the Father. The flesh of Jesus is the Son. The HolyGhost is Christ in you, the hope of Glory.
Jesus is Jehovah with us. Matthew and Isaiah called him immanuel, or God with us. The name Jesus itself means Jehovah-Savior or Jehovah our Savior. Jesus is the express image of the invisible God. All you'll ever need you can find in Jesus. Jesus is undeniably God
Col 2:9-10
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

Without question!
Jesus is God while at the same time the second person of the trinity.
I have no problem believing in the trinity because I have come to realize that just because my little gray mass in the skull cannot understand something does not mean it cannot be.
I have also come to believe that God does not have to make everything evident to me.....he does not answer to me, but I to Him. I belive that anyone that questions God just because they cannot understand Him needs to really see what their real issue is. I do not see how anyone can aknowledge God, but then question Him when they do not undertand what He is doing.

I believe Jesus is God, the scriptures are how i know.
NIV
Matthew 9:6
But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins...." Then he said to the paralytic, "Get up, take your mat and go home."
Matthew 28:18
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
John 5
22Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, 23that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.
John 20:28
Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!"
Romans 9:5 Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of Christ, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen.
1 John 5:20
We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true—even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

Yes, I believe that Jesus is God. For several reasons.
He fulfilled all of the prophesies of the Old Testament concerning the Messiah.
He did not deny the Jewish leaders when they accused him of making himself equal with God by calling himself the Son of God.
He did not tell Thomas after he appeared to him with the wounds not to worship him and he did not say that he should not call him "My Lord and my God".
He rose from the dead appeared to over 500 people and the apostles all went to their death believing this except for John.

Jesus is the second person of the Trinity. Father, Son & Holy Ghost.
Jesus, in human form, is the son of God.

Jesus is the son of God and you can only get to God by going thru Jesus and accepting him as your Lord and Savior and believing he died on the cross for you.
