I had thick curly hair...I HATED IT!! I just straightened my hair using Ogilve hair straightener...and it really worked. The box was $7.00 at walmart...so it was pretty cheap. IT says it works for three months..and every time you use it your hair will get straighter. My family couldnt believe the difference. ANd my hair came out really soft. I would do it again in a hearbeat!!

Pureed avocado. Leave it on for about 15 minutes, then shampoo it out. You might need to use an outside hose or a sink with a garbage disposal. otherwise the drain could clog. I've also used olive oil, leave it on for about an hour and then wash it out. Straight Jojoba oil also works as a leave in conditioner and its good if you're out in the sun.

Sheesh: What's up. People with straight hair are looking for miracle shampoos to curl their hair and lucky people with curly hair is looking to straighten it. Enjoy your curly hair, if it's dry, use a good conditioner.

Love the skin you're in, and that includes your hair.

I have had curly, wirey wool all of my 35 years, before I could really afford to buy products for this, I used to take my hair brush, a FLAT FAT one and add a TINY...I do mean TINY dab of vegetable oil on it and that would not only help it stay straight, the fuzzy wuzzy was gone....even in humidity, sounds gross, but works and is CHEAP!!

The cheapest remedy is to change your hairstyle. If you want something simple (as straight hair can be) then cut your curls into a pixie cut. It could be cute! Otherwise, the harder your 'do, the more you can expect to spend forcing your hair into something against nature.
