In France and Italy it is 16. In the UK it is 18, but 16 in restaurants.

The drinking age is 18, but in Rome and Paris (sorry, never been to England) they aren't very strict about it. I was 15 when I traveled to Europe and I had no trouble getting alcohol, even from really nice places.

all the undesirable acts commence after the barrier age of 18 yet pls do not smoke or drink at the same time as u'll be away to Europe / uk in the subsequent summer season. If u r gonna galvanize someone, then pls be well mannered, courteous and wise on your manners somewhat than indulging in some abhorable activities.
