So what's the problem? It would seem that you have not told us why you are not close as you want to be with your brother. How old are you? Is this a problem of growing up and growing apart because it is time to start dating? Why not double-date with your brother and his girlfriend, and keep the gang together?

I have a twin brother, too. Sometimes I just sit with him and talk. You must accept that you can't be THAT close, like best friends, because you are brothers and sisters and siblings just don't do that. I find it especially difficult to be close to him because all of my friends come over just to see him while all of his friends will never like me because I'm just their friend's sister. So yeah, to be close, you just need to do things with him. Watch tv or even something else that you both like to do. Do homework together. You have to accept that you can't be that close, though, especially in high school because there are so many people in life you are going to meet. Try and just be there for him.

I have a twin as well a sister. at times we may disagree and at times we may agree, but just allow each other to have your own identity. agree to disagree and soon you will both see you have more in common than you thought.

try getting in to the same stuff that he does and even just ask him if it would be ok to hang out some time, but take it in baby steps, couse too much could be toooo much k
