I am 40.I have noticed that my hair will not grow .I am healthy....do not color my hair, nor die it. It is thick. I don't brush it hard...or stress it in any way.I use conditioner often, and leave it in to let it work.It just seems to have gotten to "shoulder level" but does not grow past that point.

this is normal. im a nurse. your hair will reach a length and not grow beyond that point. i know i will NEVER have long flowing hair that goes to my shoulders so i will settle for short hair that wont grow to much longer than a shirt collar. cells replenish but wll not compare to the vibrancy that they had in our younger years. think of it this way, a person may not EVER cut her hair. that doesnt mean when she is 80 years old her hair has reached a length of 95 feet. others may debate, and some may say their hair still grows, but i bet whatever length it stops at that will be it.

Somethings you have no control over, like age or genetics. Hey look at the bright side at least you don't sound like you need a rug any time soon. Thick, shoulder level, if that you worst problem i am happy for you!
I will add i have heard if you keep up on trimming dead ends, that speeds and encourages growth. when is the last time you got a haircut? try that.

Hair loss affects both men and women. Here are some natural remedies that can help boost hair growth: https://bitly.im/aMvxL While genetics plays a role, there are other factors, including: hormonal imbalances, an underactive thyroid gland, nutrient deficiencies and insufficient scalp circulation.

Your hair may need trimmed past the split ends. Then use the shampoo Main and Tail. This really works.

each strand of hair grows like centimeter each month. so that is why you don't notice it growing. Its growing slowly. Before you know it your hair will grow past your shoulders. I got a short haircut and highlighted it blond. Its been a month and my roots are showing so my hair is growing. Its like a centimeter so its growing.

Our bodies do change as we age. Hair growth might also slow down as well. I suggest keeping a monthly appointment to get a trim. should keep hair healthy.

How long would you want your hair anyway....
